• Juveniles may be eaten by Smooth Snakes and other reptilivorous snakes.
• These include the Egyptian cobra, false smooth snake and horned viper.
• The other two, the Grass snake and the Smooth snake are non-venomous.
• Reptiles are represented by 7 species, including snakes : the venomous adder and the harmless water snake and smooth snake.
